It may only have been a dusting, but this girl couldn't barely contain her excitement! From snow angels, to throwing snow, to eating it... she had a blast.  Oh the joy of little ones!  We could've had 3 feet of snow and it wouldn't have made a difference.  Happy Snow!

Christmas @ Chesterwood

 

 

Here are a few pics of the girls from Christmas @ Chesterwood.  GG lives there and it's always so beautiful for the holidays.  We started off the afternoon with our annual piano shots...  they thoroughly enjoyed entertaining everyone with their rendition of Jingle Bells.  However, a true pianist kicked them out, but they didn't mind a bit instead they decided to dance to the music.  :)  They also saw Santa; Addy wouldn't let go of his hand! haha    Such cute girls and growing up way too quickly (as evidenced in the pics below)!

We are ecstatic to announce that we are expecting Baby Finney #2 June 13, 2013.  Hopefully we can be lucky enough to get another just as perfect as Addy!

This year we spent Thanksgiving at the farm in Illinois with Scott's grandparents.  The girls had a blast playing together and having tea parties with GG Finney. :)

Our little princess was Snow White this year, and a perfect one at that.  She braved the 39 degree weather in rain/sleet to fill her pumpkin up with loot.  She traveled to each house independently, using great manners and then asking, "Where we go next?" She was a champ-- the rest of us were freezing, but nothing was going to hold her back. :)

Addy also got to wear her Snow White attire to her bff, Jolene's, 3rd birthday party.  Aren't they the cutest Snow White & Cinderella?  And of course she got to enjoy her 1st school Halloween Party.  Above is a class pic--- soo cute. :)

Addy's Preschool Picture

Getting too big too quick.  This was our little girl's first preschool picture.  It just about breaks my heart, unfortunately it broke our bank account too.  We may have gone a bit overboard, but how can you not when you've got a kid this cute!?!

Pumpkins!

October has been a great month for our family!  We are definite fall people. :)  Addy's loved all of the pumpkin activities- pumpkin patch, painting pumpkins, & carving.  Well, maybe not the guts part, but she definitely liked the finished product. :)

First Day of Preschool!

Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday we were trying to figure out how to swaddle Addy to help her sleep, putting her on the dryer to help Colic, and praying that we'd get at least a few hours of sleep at once. Now, look at her... off to her first day of preschool. Wow, these past 2 1/2 years have flown past. Now, I'm praying for these years to slow down... if I'm this emotional at preschool drop-off... what will I be like at high school graduation!!!??? haha

We are so proud of this little girl though. She's an absolute joy- full of love and happiness. She makes everyone smile, no matter where we are. And of course, she's smart-- both her teachers commented on that today when I went to pick her up from school. Addy's just growing too quickly, but I wouldn't change a minute. She is AMAZING inside and out. :) So glad she had such a wonderful first day of school!
