Happy Spring!

Spring is finally here and Mommy's home on Spring Break! The weather is gorgeous and Adelynn is loving to go for walks and shopping adventures in the nice weather. I am so glad to be able to spend this week at home with our little bundle of joy and am already counting down the weeks until summer break. :)

Addy's recently discovered her hands and the picture above shows how she spends most of her hours-- sucking on those hands. She's also loving the tub now, which is great. She doesn't cry until we have to take her out. She's going to be a little waterbug which will definitely make her Grandpa happy. Daddy decided to show off Addy's rattail while she was in the tub, too.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Adelynn Rose O'Finney enjoyed her first St. Patrick's Day. Daddy cooked homemade Shephard's Pie, which was DELICIOUS! Nana, Papa, Aunt Kristen, Uncle Chris, and Cousin Avery came over to enjoy the festivities, too. Of course, the cousins had to embark on yet another photo shoot! Avery loves to chew on Addy's head & Addy just soaks it all in (literally!). haha We were also able to capture a picture of Addy enjoying tummy time & lifting her head. She's getting pretty strong. :)

2 months old!

Our little girl is 2 months old already! It's hard to believe how much she's changed in the past couple months. Addy's really starting to take on her own personality... lots of giggles, smiles, coos, and crazy facial expressions.

Too cute!

Addy is 8 weeks old already! It's hard to believe how quickly the time has gone. I'm headed back to work on Monday, but Addy's looking forward to hanging out with her sitter Jammie 3x/week, Mimi on Thursdays, and Nana on Fridays. I'm so glad for the time I've been able to spend @ home with her attempting to capture as many cute moments on camera as possible. Addy's all smiles lately which melts my heart--nothing is better than seeing your little girl smile. :) She also loves to do her muscle-man pose; however, there's been some controversy that is actually a fist pump from Jersey Shore...

BFF

This weekend Addy's met her best friend. Jolene & her Mommy & Daddy came over to visit, & it was very apparent that Jolene & Addy had a blast together. Addy's been smiling a ton lately which just melts my heart. We were fortunate enough to capture one of the smaller smiles on camera (haven't gotten one of the wide-mouth smiles on camera yet. Addy's already learned the power of her smile- the other morning she refused to go back to bed @ 4am. but she just kept staring @ me with a huge smile so of course you couldn't be upset. She's already learned the trouble her smile can get her out of... smart girl! haha
