6 month pictures

We had Adelynn's 6 month pictures scheduled for Wednesday; however on Tuesday Mimi & Mommy took Addy to Penny's to look around for some pillows and the photographers snatched her up. They said Addy was so happy that they would love to take her picture. Of course, we couldn't pass up the model's first photo shoot so we took them up on their offer. We got quite a few cute ones for free!! We're thinking this is a sign we should put Addy into modeling so we can pay for diapers ;) haha. Here are some of our faves from both the Penny's photo shoot and the real 6 month photo shoot.

Happy 4th!

Addy enjoyed her first 4th of July and looked quite adorable as Miss Liberty ;). She took her first trip to the zoo and loved almost every minute of it. We had a bit of a scare in the cat house at the Meercat exhibit. Addy was staring and laughing at the little creatures running around until one ran straight towards the glass and then stood up on his back legs and stared at her. This scared Addy quite a bit and she let out a scream that we had never heard before. :( Poor little thing... she recovered quickly though and enjoyed the rest of her time at the zoo. We ran into Aunt Kristen, Uncle Chris, and cousin Avery at the zoo, and Avery's other grandparents, too. After the zoo, we enjoyed a cookout at the Lazuta household where Addy learned to share toys with Avery ;) haha.
